Noah’s Park & Playgrounds will always
strive to provide quality park and playground equipment at fair and reasonable
prices. But sometimes, completely out of our control, the cost of imported
steel and aluminum can create a little hiccup in our mission.

On March 8, 2018, after a nearly
yearlong Section 232 investigation by the Department of Commerce, the Trump
Administration announced broad sweeping tariffs on steel and aluminum imports.

Thus far, with the
tariff announcement now in effect, three of Noah’s product manufacturers— Superior Recreation, MyTCoat,  National Recreation Systems and Dero– found it necessary to add a
surcharge to all future quotes and orders. The surcharge rates are between 2% to 5%, depending on the company.

So
far, these manufactures total only 4 of the 40 vendors Noah’s partners
with, to increase their costs due to this tariff increase. That means others

What does this mean for our customers and what should you do?

** Superior Recreation Products:

• If you have been quoted a Superior Recreation
  product in the past and might be interested in purchasing, call your sales representative and put in your order before May 3rd
  to get your original quoted price. If you order after May 3rd, you will have to
  receive a new quote with the 3% surcharge applied. 

** National Recreation Systems:

• If you are interested in buying a National Recreation
  Systems product, you can buy directly on our website shopping cart, or you can contact us by email or phone at (877) 248-5444 to order products before
  the price increases after May 14th, 2018.
• If you have been quoted a National Recreation Systems product in the past and might be interested in purchasing, call your sales representative and put in your order before May 14th to get your original quoted
  price. If you order after May 14th, you will have to receive a new quote with
  the 5% surcharge applied. 

** Dero Products:

• If you are interested in buying a Dero product, you can buy directly on our website shopping cart, or you can contact us by email or phone at (877) 248-5444 to order products before the price increases after May 14th, 2018.
• If you have been quoted a Dero product in the past and might be interested in purchasing, call your sales representative and put in your order before May 14th to get your original quoted price. If you order after May 14th, you will have to receive a new quote with the 2% surcharge applied. 

** MyTCoat Products:

• If you have been quoted a MyTCoat product prior to
  April 10th, 2018, unfortunately that quote pricing is no longer valid. Contact us and one of our sales representatives will write you a new quote with proper pricing.
